Meet Rob Barnard, owner of R & R Detailing, a certified and accredited company by leading brands in the industry. He really does have a passion for reviving and restoring your automobiles and motorcycles. I had the pleasure of spending some time with him to learn more about the bespoke service he offers with fellow petrolhead Pete.
Rob takes the time to understand just what you want to achieve, your options include detailing, ceramic coatings, paint protection film, vinyl wraps, and graphics and number plates.
Rob said once you have had a coating on your car, it comes with a warranty, which means DO NOT WASH your car. Available to buy is a range of specialist products to protect and maintain.
Rob says…
“We are not just your generic Detailing & PPF studio, I have also wanted to completely understand what our clients want to achieve and build them a treatment package. I think it’s the most important part to make a successful and understanding relationship so we can work together. I want to relax them and then get them excited about projects.
There are so many “DETAILING” outfits now I want to separate myself from that and be different.
I’m constantly thinking about project ideas and different business plans, I can’t switch off. But I think passion is what people need to see”.

“I’ve tried so many different products over the last 10 years but GYEON is always a favourite, I’ve been accredited/ certified since 2014 and love the quality of the product from maintenance to certified ceramic coatings & PPF (paint protection film).
We offer a range of detailing packages. Each package is bespoke to your car and is built in collaboration with you.
Option 1 offers a regular safe wash package.
Option 2 consists of a more in-depth decontamination wash.
Option 3 progresses with paint correction –f or this option, we offer a range of treatments varying from a single-stage paint correction to a full multi-stage paint correction. The skill of machine polishing is used to remove defects and scratches from the paintwork, boosting gloss levels and revealing any metallic clarity”
Ceramic Coatings
Our certified Ceramic Coatings are applied by highly skilled detailers to all car surfaces, guaranteeing outstanding visual results, long-lasting protection, and resistance to dirt and contaminates. Regular safe washes become more effective and the surfaces remain glossy, now protected from UV rays and harsh chemicals preventing oxidation and dullness.
PPF
Whether you have fresh paintwork from our bespoke package or the original factory paint, protection is a must to keep your car safe from scratches, chips and harsh dealings of modern life. PPF is the perfect solution to protect the fresh paintwork on all surfaces of your vehicle.
Vinyl and Graphics ( complete colour changes)
We design and replicate OEM decals and custom create graphics. We offer full vinyl colour changes, de-chroming, and window tinting.
We are collaborating with Stella to ensure your cars are in tip-top condition for their photoshoot to create provenance and a visual memory”.
“We always want to be Sustainable – all waste is recycled and our microbes even have a tire system, when new they are safe for freshly polished paintwork, washed & dried they are moved to interior cleans then washed & dried, and they will do arches and engine bays then rewashed to clean the floors, after that a mechanic friend takes them away” .
Number Plates
R & R Detailing offers a range of different styles from standard to 3D gels, 4D, tinted, short, hex, ghost.
Secure Storage
They offer a safe, secure and discreet vehicle storage facility providing a home for classic, luxury, track, and performance vehicles including camper vans.
Whether for a short stay or for the long term, each vehicle is monitored 24 hours a day with security coverage and the facility is kept secure with high grade physical locks and bollards.
Each vehicle is provided with a dedicated C-TEK battery conditioner and will receive a bi-weekly run up to temperature to ensure optimum battery level is maintained. Each vehicle is provided with a super soft, stretchy, breathable cover that is suitable for all paint types. Covers are carefully and methodically applied and removed to minimise any contamination. Each aspect of the storage process is carried out by a dedicated, passionate and experienced member of the Supremacy team.
